Ceiba Bruja

Ceiba bruja is located on the northern foothills of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta, north of Colombia. The tropical dry forest in Colombia is the most threatened ecosystem; only 8% of its original area remains. Timber harvesting and unsustainable agriculture activities are the main drivers of biodiversity loss. Through Football for Forests, intensive restoration will be carried out in 38 pitches of degraded pastures or abandoned cultivation areas and areas in the initial processes of plant succession.
